WARRANTIES and INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
Everyone loves to get the job done, right ?
In Australia, the government has set laws in place to govern the installation of work such as plumbing and electrical. Without these laws, lives could be at risk. For instance, people could die of electric shock if not installed correctly, or if plumbing is not done correctly then this could cause water damage to houses, businesses and the like.
It goes without saying (but our lawyers have told us to tell you…) that you need to heed the following warning concerning the installation of equipment. Where so stated on this website or on the instruction manuals that come with the products:
- All electrical work must be carried out by licensed electrical tradesmen
- All plumbing work must be carried out by licensed plumbing tradesmen
If this requirement is not done, then:
- Any warranty claims made within the warranty period for ‘defective’ products may be voided, at the discretion of the company
- Any insurance claims for damage made by the appliance may be voided, at the discretion of your insurance agent
Not all the products on our website require licensed professionals for installation – only those where it explicitly says so.
It’s not just about getting the job done; it’s about getting the job done right.
This is not our own law, it’s Australian Law.
Thank you for understanding.
Let’s keep Australia on the right track!
